Captain O Designs was unofficially birthed over 10 years ago at Clemson University in South Carolina, where its founders met. Chris and John were two former Young Life kids that happened to stumble into the same Bible study the first semester of college. For four years they frequented every thrift store in a 20-mile radius, finding funny shirts, ridiculous hats and toys that kept them entertained for a few bucks a trip. After college their lives led them in very different directions, Chris to Pennsylvania to work in youth ministry and John to Florida to start medical school. But they both still occasionally visited the local thrift store to find that classic funny or random shirt on the super old, soft shirt. It wasn’t until recently that Chris had the idea to start a company making shirts that they thought others would think cool enough to buy themselves or give to others. Chris knew of a few ministries that needed help financially and thought that using Captain O profits, as a means to help them out would be awesome. Captain O Designs desires to be a company that makes only positive themed shirts, with several having a Christian theme. Chris and John believe that their originality and humor come from God and they want to give that back to Him through Captain O Designs. So the designs you see on Captain O shirts are straight from the crazy minds of Chris and John. Captain O gives $3 from every shirt that is sold to a ministry that we believe is serving to spread the love of God to those in need, both locally and globally. Captain O hopes you enjoy the shirts. Our Mission is to design, produce and sell high quality, humorous and Christian theme shirts while having a portion of the profits supporting ministries that serve to spread the love of Christ and expand His Kingdom work, both locally and globally.
